Full time Nanny - Long term Costa Mesa, CA

Warm, first-time parents in Costa Mesa are seeking a loving, experienced nanny to care for their newborn. This is a long-term position for someone who genuinely enjoys infant care and wants to grow with a family. The home also includes a beloved 2-year-old Goldendoodle, so true dog lovers only.

Schedule

Start with 4 days/week in early or mid April to establish routine

Transition to 5 days/week by mid-June

Monday & Friday: 8:00 AM start

Tuesday–Thursday: 7:00 AM start

Approximately 45 hours/week (final schedule TBD)

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive, nurturing care for a newborn

- Follow safe sleep practices

- Support breastfed and bottle-fed routines

- Take baby on walks

- Daily updates on feeds, naps, mood, and play

- Light child-related household tasks only (tidying baby areas, bottles, toys)

Required Qualifications

- Newborn / infant experience (0–6 months)

- Infant CPR & First Aid certified

- Fully vaccinated (TDAP, flu, COVID)

- Calm, patient, nurturing temperament

- Strong communication skills

- Reliable, punctual, and professional
