Position OverviewThe Overnight Pet Sitter is responsible for providing continuous, in-home care for clients&rsquo; pets while the client is away. This role requires the sitter to stay overnight and remain in the client&rsquo;s home throughout the duration of the assignment, ensuring pets receive consistent care, attention, and supervision.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Stay overnight in the client&rsquo;s home for the full duration of the booking</li><li>Remain at the home during the day (no extended absences unless pre-approved)</li><li>Provide feeding, fresh water, and administer medications if needed</li><li>Follow all client instructions regarding pet care routines</li><li>Provide companionship, exercise, and enrichment activities for pets</li><li>Walk dogs and clean up waste as needed</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of pet areas, including litter boxes, crates, and feeding areas</li><li>Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report concerns immediately</li><li>Keep the home secure at all times (locking doors, monitoring visitors, etc.)</li><li>Provide regular updates to clients (photos, messages, check-ins)</li></ul>Home Care Duties<ul><li>Maintain general cleanliness and respect for the client&rsquo;s home</li><li>Follow house rules provided by the client</li><li>Bring in mail/packages if requested</li><li>Take out trash if needed</li><li>Ensure lights, alarms, and other home systems are managed per instructions</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience with pet care (professional or personal)</li><li>Comfortable staying overnight in a client&rsquo;s home for extended periods</li><li>Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of client property</li><li>Ability to follow detailed instructions</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Ability to handle emergencies calmly and responsibly</li></ul>Expectations<ul><li>Treat the client&rsquo;s home and pets with the highest level of care and respect</li><li>Maintain a professional and dependable presence throughout the stay</li><li>Limit time away from the home unless explicitly approved</li><li>Provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for all pets</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Commitment<ul><li>Overnight stays required</li><li>Continuous presence in the home during the booking period</li><li>Duration may range from 1 night to multiple weeks depending on client needs</li></ul>Compensation(To be determined based on experience, number of pets, and length of stay)Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, SeasonalPay: $21.25 - $59.75 per dayBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Mileage reimbursement</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person

This is a commission-based position with flexible scheduling, ideal for someone looking for supplemental income.
