About TAKMILTAKMIL (Teach A Kid Make Individual Life) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality education to out-of-school children in rural Pakistan. Since 2017, TAKMIL has been operating 150+ non-formal schools, educating over 5,000 children, and mobilizing volunteers across 10+ North American chapters. Our mission is to build a Pakistan with zero out-of-school children by 2047.Role OverviewThe Impact Communication Lead will strengthen and streamline TAKMIL&rsquo;s impact communication across three levels:<ul><li>Chapter Local Leads: to ensure alignment, coordination, and engagement across 19+ North American chapters.</li><li>Chapter Donors: to deliver consistent, professional, and inspiring updates that showcase the impact of their contributions.</li><li>New Chapters Identification: Identification, outreach, and onboarding of new city-based volunteer networks to expand TAKMIL&rsquo;s presence and ensure sustainable growth.</li></ul>This individual will prepare chapter-specific impact reports, facilitate meetings, support donor stewardship, and provide content and tools for chapters to engage their local communities more effectively.Key Responsibilities1. Two-Level Chapter Communication<ul><li>Coordinate the communication between TAKMIL leadership, chapter leads, and chapter donors.</li><li>Build and maintain a communication calendar that includes updates for both chapter teams and their donors.</li><li>Ensure all chapter leads receive monthly updates with key impact highlights, upcoming events, and resources.</li><li>Develop ready-to-use donor updates (short reports, email templates, thank-you notes) that chapters can share with their supporters.</li></ul>2. Chapter Lead Engagement<ul><li>Organize and facilitate regular virtual meetings with chapter leads to share progress, campaign strategies, and field updates.</li><li>Maintain a contact list of chapter leaders, volunteers, and key stakeholders.</li><li>Provide training and communication toolkits to help chapter leads engage their local donor base effectively.</li></ul>3. Donor Engagement &amp; Stewardship<ul><li>Coordinate and host virtual donor meetings (both city-specific and organization-wide).</li><li>Work with chapters to prepare personalized donor impact reports highlighting progress in the schools/villages they support.</li><li>Ensure consistent donor acknowledgment (letters, thank-you videos, milestone updates).</li><li>Collaborate with the fundraising team to craft compelling donor communications for special campaigns.</li></ul>4. Impact Reporting<ul><li>Collect data and stories from TAKMIL schools (attendance, literacy, teacher updates, success stories).</li><li>Prepare quarterly chapter-specific impact reports and annual reports with key metrics and narratives.</li><li>Use visuals, infographics, and short stories to make reports donor-friendly and easy to share.</li></ul>5. Storytelling &amp; Content Development<ul><li>Transform field data into human-centered stories that inspire action.</li><li>Create toolkits with photos, videos, presentations, and social media content for chapter use.</li><li>Support chapters in their local events with presentation decks and campaign materials.</li></ul>6. Campaign &amp; Event Support<ul><li>Develop chapter campaign kits with templates and talking points for consistency.</li><li>Track campaign participation, donor engagement, and fundraising results.</li><li>Provide post-event/campaign summaries and recommendations for improvement.</li></ul>7. New Chapter Identification:<ul><li>Identify and research high-potential cities for expansion.</li><li>Map and approach prospective volunteer leaders and community champions.</li><li>Conduct introductory calls and assess alignment and readiness.</li></ul>8. Systems &amp; Processes<ul><li>Maintain a shared repository (Google Drive/CRM/Notion) for chapter communications, donor contact history, and reports.</li><li>Build feedback loops to continuously improve communication flow between central team, chapters, and donors.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; QualificationsEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Project Management, Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, International Development, or related field (or equivalent work experience).</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>3+ years in communications, donor relations, or volunteer management (nonprofit experience preferred).</li><li>Experience coordinating across multiple teams or chapters.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Excellent communication (verbal, written) and meeting facilitation skills.</li><li>Excellent presentation and speaking skills</li><li>Strong ability to create polished reports, presentations, and donor updates.</li><li>Good organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
