Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting &amp; Payables Associate to join our team at a premier luxury home builder. In this role, you will support the financial operations behind high-end residential construction projects, working closely with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions in QuickBooks.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable in QuickBooks</li><li>Code and enter vendor invoices, subcontractor billings, and construction-related expenses</li><li>Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner</li><li>Generate and send client invoices and track draw schedules tied to project milestones</li><li>Post incoming payments and maintain accurate AR records</li><li>Assist with job costing and project-based expense tracking</li><li>Maintain organized records for subcontractor agreements, lien waivers, and W-9s</li><li>Support month-end close and assist with financial reporting for active projects</li><li>Communicate professionally with high-end vendors, subcontractors, and clients</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>1&ndash;3 years of AP/AR or bookkeeping experience; construction industry experience a plus</li><li>Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) required</li><li>Familiarity with job costing or project-based accounting preferred</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Professional communication skills &mdash; you will interact with luxury clientele and vendors</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets</li><li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred</li></ul>About UsWe are a boutique luxury home builder known for delivering exceptional craftsmanship and white-glove service to our clients.
