Job Purpose: </b>Working as part of a collaborative team, the accountant will support the Client Portfolio Lead to deliver high-quality financial information to clients through the technical preparation of accounts and tax schedules, ensuring all work meets professional standards</div><div>

Duties &amp; Responsibilities</b></div><div>
 Accounts Preparation:</div><ul><li>
Prepare company accounts from client records, including processing invoices, bank statements, and receipts</li><li>
Draft financial statements such as profit and loss accounts and balance sheets using accounting software</li><li>
Ensure all accounts are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulations</li><li>
Submit prepared accounts for review and sign-off by Client Portfolio Lead</li></ul><div>
Personal Tax Support:</div><ul><li>
Assist in preparing personal tax returns, including gathering and organising relevant information from clients</li><li>
Draft basic tax calculations, supporting the Client Manager and wider team in meeting personal tax deadlines</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive personal data</li></ul><div>
Team Collaboration:</div><ul><li>
Collaborate with other team members, including bookkeepers and tax specialists, to ensure accurate and smooth data flow and service delivery</li><li>
Share information and support colleagues to meet collective deadlines.</li><li>
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment</li></ul><div>
Compliance and Quality Control:</div><ul><li>
Stay informed about relevant accounting standards and practice requirements</li><li>

Ideally, you will fit the following requirements/experience:</b></div><ul><li>
CA Inter, MBA Finance or any accounting degree</li><li>
Minimum 3 years of experience in preparing company accounts for UK and 1 year of tax support experience is a must</li><li>
Good understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements</li><li>
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
