Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting caf&eacute; environment, and providing outstanding customer service. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a love for coffee and food preparation.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.</li><li>Operate caf&eacute; equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.</li><li>Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety guidelines.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.</li><li>Handle cash transactions efficiently using the cash register, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the caf&eacute; area, including tables, counters, and equipment to create a welcoming atmosphere.</li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in the food service or caf&eacute; industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.</li><li>Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and knowledge of different coffee beans is a plus.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.</li><li>Basic understanding of retail math for handling transactions accurately.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours efficiently.</li></ul>Join us as we create memorable experiences through exceptional coffee!Job Type: Part-timePay: From $17.25 per hourExpected hours: 15 &ndash; 25 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person
