If you love the sound of that, keep reading.The Role:We&rsquo;re on the lookout for a curious, organized, reliable and proactive Admin Bookkeeper to join our remote team! You&rsquo;ll be helping improve systems on the backend, managing books for multiple awesome small business clients, getting exposure to a variety of industries, and learning the ropes from a supportive crew that&rsquo;s here to help you grow. It&rsquo;s very important that we find someone who is detail oriented so when you apply for the role, please make sure to include the secret subject line &ldquo;I&rsquo;m very reliable&rdquo;This is a great fit for someone who&rsquo;s early in their bookkeeping journey and eager to build confidence in a hands-on, real-world setting &mdash; without being thrown into the deep end alone.What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing:● Keeping track of day-to-day transactions using QuickBooks Online (and sometimes QuickBooks Desktop)● Reconciling bank and credit card accounts (you love it when things balance)● Aiding with A/P and A/R &mdash; because every penny counts● Generating financial reports like P&amp;Ls and balance sheets for review● Organizing and maintaining financial data across multiple clients● Month-end and year-end close tasks including 1099 tracking and distribution● Assisting with the development and improvement of internal processes to help operations run more efficiently.● Collaborating on rolling out new systems and technology that make everyone&rsquo;s life easier● Keeping company files, documents, and information organized and accessible&mdash;think digital zen with a side of efficiency.What You Bring:● An associate&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant experience● At least 2 years of bookkeeping or related accounting and admin work● QuickBooks Online PROFICIENCY &mdash; you know your way around it!● A sharp eye for detail and solid time management chops● GREAT communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude● A desire to learn, grow, and work closely with experienced bookkeepersBonus Points For:● Experience juggling books for clients in different industries● Comfort with cloud tools (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.)● Microsoft Excel skills (formulas are your friends)● QuickBooks ProAdvisor certificationWhat We Offer:● One-on-one training and mentorship● The chance to work with a variety of small businesses (never a dull moment!)● A flexible remote schedule that fits your life (must be within 3+/- of eastern time zone)● A collaborative, welcoming team that believes in supporting each other● Room to grow as our firm continues to expandReady to Join Us?You won&rsquo;t just be crunching numbers&mdash;you&rsquo;ll be a valued team player in a friendly environment where initiative is appreciated, and growth is encouraged.
