Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Warehouse Manager to lead our distribution operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse functions, ensuring seamless inventory management, efficient logistics, and continuous process improvement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.Duties<ul><li>Lead and supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution processes.</li><li>Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.</li><li>Manage transportation planning and coordination with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and carriers to ensure timely delivery and pickup schedules.</li><li>Oversee procurement, purchasing, and materials management to maintain optimal stock levels aligned with demand planning.</li><li>Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400 to monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and analyze supply chain data for continuous improvement.</li><li>Supervise warehouse staff, including training on forklift operation, dispatching procedures, and safety protocols; foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.</li><li>Monitor budget adherence related to warehouse operations while managing freight costs, transportation management systems (TMS), and logistics expenses.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in warehouse supervision with strong leadership skills in supervising teams within a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory management, demand planning, production planning, and logistics.</li><li>Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms like AS400, transportation management systems (TMS), and supply chain analytics tools.</li><li>Expertise in process improvement techniques such as Lean methodologies and continuous improvement strategies.</li><li>Strong understanding of freight shipping &amp; receiving procedures, dispatching, fleet management, procurement processes, and warehouse distribution.</li><li>Ability to manage budgets effectively while optimizing inventory control and transportation costs.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments including purchasing, materials management, and logistics teams.
