This paid position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while making a tangible difference in people&rsquo;s homes.Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing fixtures, and appliances with precision and confidence.</li><li>Install, maintain, and troubleshoot air conditioning units, boilers, and other mechanical equipment according to schematics and technical specifications.</li><li>Conduct routine property maintenance tasks including equipment repairs, welding, and system upgrades to ensure safety and efficiency.</li><li>Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to accurately service complex systems.</li><li>Perform field service duties such as testing electrical components with ohmmeters, replacing worn parts, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Operate a &lt;PERSON&gt; driver vehicle safely while transporting tools or equipment to various job sites.</li><li>Collaborate with team members on large projects involving ammonia refrigeration systems or HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) setups.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction, appliance repair, or property maintenance.</li><li>Proven service technician experience working with HVAC systems, plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), or boiler systems.</li><li>Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately.</li><li>Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.</li><li>Experience in field service environments with a focus on equipment repair and preventative maintenance.</li><li>Knowledge of welding techniques and mechanical repairs for diverse systems.</li><li>Familiarity with &lt;PERSON&gt; driver operations and safety protocols related to transportation of tools or parts.
