Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing fixtures, and appliances with precision and confidence.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot air conditioning units, boilers, and other mechanical equipment according to schematics and technical specifications.
• Conduct routine property maintenance tasks including equipment repairs, welding, and system upgrades to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to accurately service complex systems.
• Perform field service duties such as testing electrical components with ohmmeters, replacing worn parts, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely while transporting tools or equipment to various job sites.
• Collaborate with team members on large projects involving ammonia refrigeration systems or HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) setups.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction, appliance repair, or property maintenance.
• Proven service technician experience working with HVAC systems, plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), or boiler systems.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience in field service environments with a focus on equipment repair and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and mechanical repairs for diverse systems.
• Familiarity with <PERSON> driver operations and safety protocols related to transportation of tools or parts.
