Required: 4+ years of hands-on Drupal experience (Drupal 9/10 preferred). Candidates without direct Drupal experience will not be considered.As a Drupal Developer, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Drupal Developer joining our team to work remotely on Drupal, attend client or deliverable support and design meetings, and work with other team members to establish web architectural standards and patterns. Working as a part of a cross-functional team, you will also be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative web solutions using Drupal, contributing to the development of both back-end and front-end processes, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness. This position is 100% remote. Core business hours are M-F 9AM-5PM Eastern Standard Time.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and maintain a Drupal Content Management System.</li><li>Customize Drupal core functionality and contributed modules to meet project requirements.</li><li>Work on API integrations and custom solutions using PHP and Drupal services.</li><li>Implement responsive and user-friendly designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other frameworks.</li><li>Develop and optimize database structures using MySQL or equivalent database systems if needed.</li><li>Participate in daily and recurring Agile practices like Daily stand up, retrospectives, backlog grooming and refinement.</li><li>Support the scrum team in properly defining or further gathering of requirements by providing solution options and highlighting dependencies with the existing implementation.</li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions, etc.</li><li>Participate in the full application life cycle - design, development, testing, and deployment.</li><li>Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments.</li><li>Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Development Manager, Development Team, Business Analysts, CMS, DevOps team, the Security team, and other Agile team members to solve complex policy and system integration.</li></ul>What You&rsquo;ll Need to SucceedEducation: <ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.</li><li>One or more relevant certifications in Drupal development (examples: Acquia Triple Certified Drupal Expert, Acquia Certified Site Builder, Pantheon WebOPS Certification) strongly preferred.</li></ul>Required Experience:<ul><li>4+ years of hands-on experience developing Drupal. Hands-on experience with Drupal 10 and experience in earlier Drupal versions is preferred.</li><li>Experience with Drupal theming and module development.</li></ul>Required Technical Skills: <ul><li>5+ Years of relevant experience with PHP</li><li>3+ Years of relevant experience with HTML, CSS, Jquery, JavaScript, and AJAX</li><li>3+ Years of relevant experience with API development</li><li>Experience using Visual Studio Code for writing, editing, and debugging.</li><li>Experience using Active Directory to organize, manage, and secure network resources</li><li>Basic SQL/MySQL experience to structure efficient queries for metadata retrieval or application development</li></ul>Required Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>Understanding of Agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira/Confluence).</li><li>Must be able to build, maintain, and strengthen strong relationships with the client and multiple or stakeholders. Skills required include conflict resolution abilities, empathy, strategic problem solving, and active listening skills.</li><li>Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Experience translating and documenting system functionality in client/stakeholder deliverables.</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability with personnel at varying levels using effective interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.</li><li>Ability to handle constructive feedback and apply it to improve the quality of documentation.</li><li>Ability to work well as part of a team and as an individual contributor.</li><li>Problem-solving mindset with a focus on clarity, usability, and accessibility.</li></ul>Preferred Skills: <ul><li>Experience with conversational AI &amp; chatbots, building custom chatbots and virtual assistants that can answer user queries, provide support, and potentially assist with site-building tasks using natural language commands.</li><li>Experience with Machine Learning (ML) for Search &amp; Recommendations, enhancing site searches from traditional keyword-based to semantic search using vector databases (e.g., Milvus, Pinecone, Postgres) and/or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.</li><li>Hands-on experience with custom Salesforce Development and Salesforce AI</li><li>Health Care Industry or Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) experience</li></ul>Security Clearance Level:<ul><li>Candidate must be willing and able to obtain a CMS Public Trust clearance after onboarding.</li><li>Candidate must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have 4+ years of hand-on Drupal development experience?
