We are looking for a practical and organized Project Manager with strong CMS experience to lead delivery for federal health technology initiatives. The Project Manager is responsible for managing cope, schedule, risks, client communications, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery. This role works closely with technical, data, product, and client stakeholders to keep projects moving, resolve blockers, and maintain alignment with CMS priorities and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience managing federal technology, healthcare, or professional services projects.
· Direct experience supporting CMS programs, CMS contractors, or federal health agencies.
· Experience managing complex IT, data, analytics, cloud, modernization, or system implementation projects.
· Strong understanding of project management practices, risk management, stakeholder communication, and deliverable tracking.
· Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or iterative delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, CSM, SAFe, or related project management certification.
· Experience with CMS governance, quality reporting, financial systems, claims, program integrity, or healthcare data environments.
· Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, or similar platforms.
· Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to translate technical details into clear business updates.
· Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, highly visible environment.
