Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality remodels that enhance functionality and aesthetics, ensuring our clients' visions become reality.Position Overview: As we continue to grow in the greater Oklahoma City metro area, we are seeking a talented Designer to join our team and lead residential design projects from initial concept through construction completion. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative design + build environment where your creative vision directly influences the built outcome.Key Responsibilities:Design &amp; Project Leadership<ul><li>Develop comprehensive design concepts and space planning solutions for residential remodeling projects</li><li>Create construction documents (CDs) and detailed 2D floor plans, elevations, and detail drawings using design software</li><li>Produce 3D models using SketchUp for client presentations and construction visualization</li><li>Prepare material selections, finish schedules, and design presentations that align with client vision and project budget</li></ul>Client Interaction &amp; Project Management<ul><li>Lead client meetings throughout the design process from initial consultation through final selections</li><li>Conduct selections meetings with clients to guide decision-making and ensure cohesive design outcomes</li><li>Present design proposals with confidence and clarity, articulating design intent and value</li><li>Purchase and coordinate client selections and material deliveries to maintain project timelines</li></ul>Construction Collaboration<ul><li>Collaborate closely with construction team and project managers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the build process</li><li>Conduct site visits to verify field conditions, address design questions, and problem-solve on-site challenges</li><li>Review construction progress and provide clarification on design details as needed</li><li>Ensure quality control and design execution standards are met throughout construction</li></ul>Staging &amp; Marketing Support<ul><li>Develop staging vision for completed projects in collaboration with team members</li><li>Oversee staging setup and coordination for professional photography</li><li>Support marketing efforts by contributing to portfolio development and project documentation</li><li>Maintain organized project files, material libraries, and design resources</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field</li><li>2-5 years of professional experience in residential design, preferably in a remodeling or design + build environment</li><li>Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering programs</li><li>Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of residential construction methods, building codes, and industry standards</li><li>Excellent client communication and presentation skills</li><li>Strong project management abilities with attention to detail and timeline management</li><li>Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Knowledge of current design trends, materials, and product offerings</li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits and vendor meetings</li></ul>Why Join Ten Key Remodels?&#9679; Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
