Full Charge Bookkeeper and Operations Manager Tenrec Inc. is a managed services provider focused on enterprise-level website management for B2B companies across the US. We are &quot;west coast centric&quot; but employ team members in several time zones and our company is fully remote.We are looking for a new bookkeeper to manage our books and to lead some aspects of operations. Qualified candidates must be very detail-oriented, organized and thorough. Experience managing the books for a professional services agency is a plus.More about Tenrec:<ul><li>We serve clients across the country</li><li>We have been in business for 28 years</li><li>We have 12 full time employees and also work with several 1099 contractors</li><li>We use Quickbooks online for our books, ADP for payroll and ClickUp for project management</li></ul>To thrive in this role, you'll need to be comfortable working independently and being proactive communicating with a remote team.This position is 20-30 hours per week.Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Full charge bookkeeping including AP, AR, payroll, invoicing, financial reporting</li><li>Manage and report on cash flow</li><li>Track accounts and report on company financial performance</li><li>Close financials after each month and at fiscal year end</li><li>Prepare annual financials and provide them to our CPA, support CPA through tax preparation and filing</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>5+ years of accounting and small business financial management experience</li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices</li><li>Deep knowledge of QuickBooks</li><li>Extensive experience with spreadsheet software (MS Excel, Google Sheets)</li><li>Ability to engage in professional business correspondence (emails)</li><li>Associate's or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in finance / accounting or commensurate training</li></ul>Additional but Optional Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Sales support experience</li><li>Human resources management</li><li>Familiarity with Google Docs and Drive</li></ul>The diversity of this role means our bookkeeper is involved in many aspects of the company operations and works with everyone on our team in some capacity.
