This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail skills in a fast-paced environment committed to teamwork and service excellence.Duties<ul><li>Operate POS systems accurately to process cash, credit/debit card transactions, and handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.</li><li>Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales.</li><li>Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stock replenishment efforts.</li><li>Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are organized, labeled correctly, and available for customers.</li><li>Practice excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely.</li><li>Support the store&rsquo;s sales goals by promoting special offers and loyalty programs during interactions with customers.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions accurately.</li><li>Supervising experience is a plus, especially in guiding team members or training new staff.</li><li>Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively.</li><li>Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members.</li><li>Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience in a retail environment enhances your ability to succeed in this role.</li><li>Ability to perform stocking duties and maintain store presentation standards consistently.
