Duties

• Operate POS systems accurately to process cash, credit/debit card transactions, and handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
• Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales.
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stock replenishment efforts.
• Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are organized, labeled correctly, and available for customers.
• Practice excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
• Support the store’s sales goals by promoting special offers and loyalty programs during interactions with customers.

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions accurately.
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially in guiding team members or training new staff.
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively.
• Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience in a retail environment enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
• Ability to perform stocking duties and maintain store presentation standards consistently.
