 We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to optimize device drivers for Embedded Vision Module (EVM) boards. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software applications to ensure seamless interaction between hardware and software components. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented embedded software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performance EVM boards.

  Responsibilities

 <ul>
  <li>
   Design, develop, and test device drivers for EVM boards to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
  </li>
  <li>
   Optimize device drivers for low-level system programming, including interrupt handling, DMA, and memory management
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering and system integration, to identify and resolve system-level issues
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop and maintain bootloaders, device drivers, and firmware for EVM boards
  </li>
  <li>
   Troubleshoot and debug issues with device drivers and firmware using tools such as JTAG, UART, and logic analyzers
  </li>
  <li>
   Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry best practices and company standards
  </li>

   Develop and maintain documentation for device drivers and firmware

  Minimum Requirements:

   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  </li>
  <li>
   1+ years of experience in embedded software development, with a focus on device drivers and low-level system programming Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Assembly
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with embedded operating systems such as Linux, FreeRTOS, or VxWorks
  </li>
  <li>
   Familiarity with EVM boards and embedded vision systems
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong understanding of computer architecture, microcontrollers, and embedded systems
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  </li>
  <li>
   Programming languages: C, C++, Assembly
  </li>
  <li>
   Embedded operating systems: Linux, FreeRTOS, VxWorks
  </li>
  <li>
   Device driver development: USB, UART, SPI, I2C
  </li>
  <li>
   Firmware development: Bootloaders, device drivers, firmware

The Role</b></p><p>
TI is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel for Commercial Government Engagements to join our Legal team. Based in Dallas, Texas, this role will provide legal guidance on engagements with U.S. and international government agencies, primarily in the defense ecosystem. The role will support worldwide government incentives programs, defense-related initiatives and contracts, and compliance with various regulations and other legal requirements, including security clearances and other national security matters. This role requires a self-motivated, collaborative attorney with extensive knowledge of government contracting mechanisms and regulations, and someone who demonstrates superior judgment, attention to detail, and ability to navigate and advise on matters of significant complexity.</p><p>
The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues across the enterprise &mdash; including business operations, government relations, sales, engineering, legal and senior leadership &mdash; to ensure TI&rsquo;s government-related activities are aligned to the company&rsquo;s business strategy and conducted in compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations.</p><p><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Provide counsel on defense-related programs, including compliance with national security regulations and security clearance requirements.</li><li>
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with U.S. and international government agencies, including FAR and FAR supplement-based engagements, OTAs, and CRADAs.</li><li>
Navigate various government information submissions and related administrative requirements.</li><li>
Advise on global government incentives programs and government engagement strategies.</li><li>
Partner with internal stakeholders to prepare proposals and RFP responses for government projects.</li><li>
Partner closely with business and senior leaders to anticipate legal and regulatory issues affecting TI&rsquo;s global government business.</li><li>
Translate complex laws and regulations into practical, actionable guidance for business teams.</li><li>
Take initiative in a fast-paced environment to provide timely, solution-oriented legal support.</li></ul></div>

<li>Bachelor's Degree</li>
<li>J.D. degree and admission to at least one U.S. state bar.</li>
<li>8+ years of relevant legal experience supporting procurement or other government contracts for or with government agencies or military branches.</li>
<li>Existing U.S. Government security clearance (SECRET or higher)</li><br>
</ul>
<p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Deep understanding of government procurement regulations and related compliance frameworks.</li>
<li>Proven ability to exercise sound legal judgment, communicate effectively across levels of the organization, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.</li>
<li>Experience advising on aerospace, defense, or national security programs.</li>
<li>Experience with government contracts audit processes (e.g., DCAA, DCMA).</li>
<li>Experience with data rights and cost accounting issues.</li>
<li>Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.</li>
