The Program Manager II for Health Education, Clinical Services &amp; Community Engagement leads planning and implementation of health education, clinical services, and community engagement initiatives that expand access to preventive care, improve health outcomes, and strengthen partnerships across community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, clinics, and public agencies. The role manages multi-stakeholder projects end-to-end&mdash;strategy, budgets, staffing, operations, data, and reporting&mdash;while advancing health outcome across screening, prevention, disease management, and navigation services.

<div><div><b>Essential Duties Summary</b></div>
<div><div><b>Health Education &amp; Communications:</b></div><ul>
<li>Develop and facilitate cultural and literacy level appropriate Health Education contents: plain-language curricula, toolkits, continued education programs, and digital materials</li>
<li>Deliver workshops, town halls, and small-group education</li>
<li>Coordinate Health Education/outreach events, materials, website/social updates, and media requests</li></ul><p></p><div><br>
</div><div><b>
Clinical Services Design, Operations, &amp; Delivery:</b></div><ul>
<li>Coordinate and facilitate community engagement, Health Education, and Clinical Services initiatives (e.g., cancer screening &amp; prevention, chronic disease, navigation, mobile/outreach).</li>
<li>Oversee community engagement, Health Education, and Clinical Service events: logistics, planning/implementation, staffing, supplies, and post-event follow-up.</li>
<li>Create SOPs, referral pathways, closed-loop follow-up, and program workflows.</li>
</ul><div>

<b>Community Engagement:</b>
</div><ul><li>Build and steward partnerships with FQHCs, CBOs, FBOs, schools, and public health agencies.</li>
<li>Establish and facilitate Community Advisory Boards; co-design initiatives using CBPR principles.</li>
<li>Represent the organization in coalitions; negotiate MOUs and data-sharing agreements</li>
</ul><div><br>
<b>Project Management:</b></div><ul>
<li>Translate program goals into workplans with timelines, KPIs, and budgets.</li>
<li>Support funding proposals, scopes, and deliverables; maintain IRB/ethics documentation</li>
<li>Ensure day-to-day operations of programs; plan/implement team meetings and takes notes</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to institutional policies, sponsor terms; support pragmatic evaluations, grant reporting, and budget management</li>

<b>Team Management:</b></div><ul>
<li>Supervise coordinators/navigators; educators, and volunteers/fellows; recruit, onboard, set goals, coach performance, and build professional development plans.</li>
<li>Oversee scheduling, supply management, and logistics for community events.</li>

<div><div><b>Education</b></div>
<div><div><b>Required:</b></div><ul>
<li>Master&rsquo;s degree</li>
<li>Most relevant degree areas include public health, health promotion, health policy, healthcare administration, social work-related degree, or health education. Degrees in other fields may be considered with evidence of sufficient university-level coursework and/or professional continuing education in the areas listed above.</li>
</ul></div>

<div><div><b>Required Licensing/Certification</b></div>
<div><div><b>Preferred:</b></div><ul>
<li>Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Certified in Public Health (CPH), Community Health Worker (CHW), or Community Health Worker Instructor (CHWi)</li>
<li>CITI (GCP/Human Subjects) credentialing and knowledge of regulatory requirements</li></ul><p></p><div><br>

<li>Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grid, hazardous waste treatment or water treatment system.</li>

<div><div><b>Work Experience</b></div>
<div><div><b>Required:</b></div><ul>
<li>Minimum of 7 years Health Education, Clinical Services &amp; Community Engagement.</li>
<li>Similar including 2+ years leading health programs is required.</li><br>

<b>Preferred:</b>
</div><ul><li>Proven track record of successfully managing research projects from inception to completion.</li>
<li>Bilingual e.g.: Spanish, Asian dialects, etc.</li>
<li>Supervisory experience (hiring, coaching, performance management)</li>

<div><div><b>Working/Environmental Conditions</b></div>
<div><ul><li>In-office setting with some local travel within the greater Houston area is expected (~25%) with mileage reimbursement</li>
