</b></div><div><div><b>Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Healthcare and Quantitative Research:</b></div><div>
The Center for Healthy and Durable Transportation (CHDT), housed in the Department of Health Informatics and Information Management at Texas State University and supported by the U.S. Department of Transportation&rsquo;s University Transportation Center (UTC) program, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position.<br>
</div><div>The successful candidate will work closely with Dr. Tiankai Wang on federally funded transportation&ndash;health research projects, as well as other sponsored grants, with a strong focus on quantitative methodologies. This is a full-time position with an initial 12-month appointment, renewable based on performance and funding availability.<br>
</div><div><b>Responsibilities:</b></div><ul>
<li>Conduct independent and collaborative research on transportation and healthcare-related topics.</li>
<li>Lead and contribute to the preparation of manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.</li>
<li>Analyze large-scale datasets using STATA and Python.</li>
<li>Contribute to grant applications and research reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Present research findings at national conferences and workshops.</li>
</ul></div>

<div><div><b>Required Qualifications</b></div>
<ul><li>PhD in healthcare, public health, health services research, economics, sociology, data science, or a related field.</li>
<li>Strong record of academic writing, including peer-reviewed publications.</li>
<li>Demonstrated expertise in quantitative research methods.</li>
<li>Proficiency in STATA and Python.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills.</li>
</ul>

<div><div><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></div>
<ul><li>Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis.</li>
<li>Prior involvement in grant writing and proposal development.</li>
<li>Evidence of successful interdisciplinary collaboration.</li>

</b></div><div><div>The <b>School of Theatre, Dance, and Film</b> at Texas State University seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor of Instruction: Production Manager (Non-Tenure Line Faculty), starting spring 2026. The new hire will join a nationally recognized department with a dynamic faculty dedicated to a collaborative and innovative approach to teaching undergraduate and graduate students. The Production Manager for the Theatre Division oversees all functions surrounding the rehearsal and production process of all Theatre productions selected by the Season Selection Committee in support of the pedagogical and artistic visions of the School of Theatre, Dance, and Film (SoTDF). The Production Manager reports to the Director of the SoTDF and must be available to work nights and weekends.<br>
<br>
<b>Responsibilities include:</b>
</div><ul><li>Active engagement in day-to-day operations and with all areas of production and disciplines to promote clear communication.</li>
<li>Developing and administering production calendars for Theatre Division productions including rehearsal schedules, move-ins, load-ins/outs, tech schedule, additional calls, design and production deadlines in collaboration with producing faculty and Operations Managers of the Performing Arts Center.</li>
<li>Developing and administering production databases in Theatre Production SharePoint including project sites for all productions that contain all necessary material and information required to plan and execute each production including approved version of scripts.</li>
<li>Scheduling and supervising production meetings.</li>
<li>Attending production meetings and design presentations.</li>
<li>Attending and providing leadership for all technical and dress rehearsals for season selected productions to ensure safety, manage crew, oversee technical rehearsal process, and help advise students in collaboration with their faculty/staff advisor.</li>
<li>Scheduling and booking venues for rehearsals including company meeting, first rehearsal, crew watch, and designer run.</li>
<li>Scheduling and facilitating communication with guest artists working on productions and advising department administrators about persons being hired from outside to facilitate pay, travel, lodging, etc.<b> </b>in collaboration with department administrators.</li>
<li>Managing season selection meetings.</li>
<li>Maintaining Production Handbook.</li>
<li>Financial accounting and tracking of expenses for each production as well as comprehensive department production budget.</li>
<li>Securing the rights to present all theatre season plays from the royalty house or publisher-agent in collaboration with department administrative assistants.</li>
<li>Serve as a member of the Design, Technology, and Management Area leadership team.</li>
<li>Managing Theatre Center room scheduling for co-curricular activities and special events.</li>
<li>Teaching and/or supervising practicum and management courses in support of realized productions.</li>
<li>Other duties related to production in the School of Theatre, Dance, and Film.</li><br>

</div><ul><li>In an academic year (9 months), the school presents.</li>
<li>2 fully produced musicals and 2 fully produced plays on the Harrison Stage (proscenium) of the Performing Arts Center.</li>
<li>2 fully produced plays on the Mainstage (typically arena or thrust) in the Theatre Center.</li>
<li>2-4 MFA student directed theatre productions on PSH Studio theatre stage (thrust) in the Theatre Center.</li>
<li>2 fully produced Dance concerts on the Harrison Stage (proscenium) of the Performing Arts Center.</li>
<li>Additional Dance productions in Evans Auditorium and Jowers.</li>

<li>Experience managing live events.</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>

Associate Professor of Instruction:</b></div><ul>
<li>Degree in related field.</li>
<li>Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.</li>

<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with others.</li>

<ul><li>Two years of university level experience.</li>
<li>Production Manager or Director of Production experience.</li>
<li>Experience with project management software and systems.</li>
<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Vectorworks.</li>
<li>Production budget management experience.</li>
<li>Experience acquiring licensing.</li>
