In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping, lawn care, and grounds maintenance tasks that keep our properties inviting and well-kept. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and outdoor equipment operation while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.Duties<ul><li>Mow lawns, trim edges, and perform turf care using power tools and hand tools to ensure healthy, attractive grass areas.</li><li>Maintain landscaped areas by planting, pruning trees and shrubs, and performing tree trimming to promote growth and safety.</li><li>Operate machinery such as excavators, snow plows, and other construction or landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.</li><li>Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of gardens and lawns.</li><li>Perform hardscape projects including the installation of pathways, patios, or retaining walls to enhance outdoor aesthetics.</li><li>Conduct routine landscape maintenance tasks such as fertilizing, aerating soil, and mulching garden beds.</li><li>Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools responsibly for various groundskeeping activities.</li><li>Support gardening efforts by planting new greenery or replacing damaged plants to maintain vibrant landscapes.</li><li>Ensure all grounds are safe by inspecting for hazards like fallen branches or uneven surfaces and addressing issues promptly.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued.</li><li>Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant care techniques, and landscape design is advantageous.</li><li>Familiarity with operating landscaping machinery such as mowers, excavators, or snow plows is a plus.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge related to maintaining hand tools and power equipment ensures efficient operation and safety compliance.</li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions with stamina and attention to detail.</li><li>Basic understanding of irrigation systems, tree care practices, and hardscape installation enhances your effectiveness in the role.</li><li>Strong teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude will help you thrive in our fast-paced environment.
