Job Title: Maintenance Director &ndash; Health Club OperationsOverview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance and facility operations for a large, high-traffic health club. This role is critical in ensuring a safe, clean, and fully operational environment for members, staff, and guests. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in facility management.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Oversee all aspects of building maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance programs</li><li>Manage pool and spa repair and maintenance operations</li><li>Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians and vendors/contractors</li><li>Ensure all equipment (fitness machines, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems) is functioning properly and safely</li><li>Develop and manage maintenance schedules and budgets</li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulatory standards</li><li>Respond quickly to facility issues and emergencies</li><li>Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential problems</li><li>Coordinate renovations, upgrades, and capital improvement projects</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of facilities management or maintenance leadership experience (health club, hospitality, or similar environment preferred)</li><li>Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool etc.)</li><li>Proven leadership and team management skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills</li><li>Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards</li><li>Technical certifications or trade licenses are a plus</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Health, dental, and vision benefits and 401K matching</li><li>Vacation, holidays and sick time off</li><li>Complimentary gym membership</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth</li></ul>How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and qualifications.This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role in maintaining a top-tier fitness facility where member experience and safety are the highest priorities.Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hourWork Location: In person
