The AR/Client Accounting Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Vice President of Finance in performing the day to day operations of the Finance/Accounting department. This may include but is not limited to performing bookkeeping, and accounting assignments.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></p><div><ul><li>
Prepares and processes daily deposits (cash, checks, credit cards, ACH) for all accounts including Thrift Store and Cafeteria. Deposit A/R payments &amp; donations to the appropriate accounts using the bank provided remote deposit device.</li><li>
Review and process store and cafeteria daily sales reports and input into MIP.</li><li>
Maintains and reconciles Admin petty cash and provides assistance to the Director of Residential Services in reconciling Group Home Petty Cash.</li><li>
Maintain Group Homes banking records and files. Book journal entries, prepare client activity statements utilizing MIP software. Reconcile accounts and track outstanding receipts.</li><li>
Record monthly ACH and credit card payments (Stripe, Clover, Authorize.net).</li><li>
Maintain client AP. Enter vendor and client invoices.</li><li>
Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements.</li><li>
Communicate with client family members / representatives.</li></ul></div><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>

Education and Experience Requirements:</b></h2><div><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
Bookkeeping training preferred.</li><li>
At least two years of finance/accounting experience preferred.</li><li>
Knowledge of fundamental accounting practices and principles, possess excellent calculation skills preferred.</li><li>
Hands on-experience with Microsoft Excel and computer-based accounting software.</li><li>
Must possess and maintain a current Florida&rsquo;s Driver&rsquo;s License and state minimum requirements for auto insurance.</li></ul></div><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:</b></h2><div><ul><li>
Regularly walk, sit, stand reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.</li><li>
Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and lift and/or carry office equipment, and boxes up to 20 pounds.</li><li>
Occasional driving to project sites, which may include walking, climbing and/or bending to perform inspections and observations.</li><li>
Primary working conditions are typical for an indoor/office environment requiring sitting for an extended period of time; frequent use of computers and standard office equipment.</li><li>
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</li></ul></div><p></p><div><p><b><br>
