Cardinal O&rsquo;Hara High School is seeking a mature and upbeat professional who will support our administration, staff, faculty, students, and families. The highly ethical and experienced team-player should possess a strong sense of integrity and desire to support all of the efforts of the Student Affairs Office. Reporting directly to the Assistant Principal, Student Affairs (APSA) this person will be responsible for the daily operation of the office and planning and implementation of activities and events at Cardinal O'Hara. This is a full-time, 12-month position.</p><br>

<p><b><i>
Responsibilities</i></b></p>
<ul><li> Coordinate bus transportation for all students, field trips and activities.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Assist with bell schedules, seating charts, and the school calendar.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Communicate with public school districts and Septa transportation offices for student busing, and reconcile trans passes.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Handle the sale of event tickets, yearbooks and other products, and reconcile the revenue from these sales.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Assist with all offices in the building.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Interact with vendors, contractors and professional services personnel to receive orders, direct activities and communicate instructions.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Perform general office duties, including answering multi-line phones, routing telephone calls or messages to appropriate staff and greeting visitors.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Keep detailed records of all events and transactions using Google and Microsoft.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Design and print booklets for all events.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Keep detailed records of all transactions and purchases in Turbine.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Help keep display cases up-to-date throughout the year for all seasons and holidays.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Assist APSA at all events, including evenings and weekends.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Responsible for being knowledgeable and to implement the mission of Cardinal O&rsquo;Hara HS.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Maintain a good working relationship with Administration, Faculty, and Staff, as well as, the students and families of Cardinal O&rsquo;Hara HS.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Stay up-to-date on current school happenings and the school calendar in order to answer any questions that might arise, and to share the appropriate information when needed.</li></ul><br>

Qualifications</i></b></p>

<ul><li> Previous experience in customer service or as an administrative assistant.</li></ul>

The Director of Student Success is the person who ensures a holistic framework exists across a multi-department effort, including guidance, academics, attendance, and discipline, to make sure every student at West Catholic is known, supported, and accountable. The goal of this position is to better ensure our student and familial support systems work together, so students are consistently supported, and efforts aren&rsquo;t being executed in silos. Through effective coordination, collaboration, and communication, the Director works to ensure that each student and family receives timely and appropriate interventions.</p><br>

</b></p><p><b>Duties and Responsibilities</b></p><br>

? Lead the Student Success Team, meeting regularly to review attendance, grades, behavior, and engagement, and identify students who need extra support before issues escalate.</p>

? Strengthen school culture by supporting adults to work effectively while collaborating across departments to create consistency, trust, and shared ownership for every student&rsquo;s growth.</p>
<p>
? Support academic growth by collaborating with counselors, teachers, the Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs, and the academic support team to identify academic challenges early and address them through tutoring, mentoring, and family engagement.</p>

? Track engagement by monitoring attendance, after-school involvement, and athletics to identify which students are deeply connected to school life and which may be beginning to disengage.</p>

? Organize grade-level teacher meetings to foster collaboration, communication, and consistency among staff.</p>

? Create and lead opportunities for students to visualize and explore pathways to success post high school graduation.</p>

? Build partnerships with universities, community organizations, and mission-aligned agencies to expand support and opportunities for students and families.</p>

Qualifications</b></p>

? Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field; Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.</p>

This position involves providing specialized educational support to students with diverse learning needs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the academic success and overall well-being of our students through personalized instruction, collaboration with Administration, Admissions, teachers and parents, and implementation of effective learning strategies and executive functioning skills.</p><br>

o Provide individualized instruction and support to students with identified needs, including those with learning disabilities, ADHD, and other diagnosed conditions.</div>
