Your role in a nutshellWe are recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Planner on a Fixed Term Contract. This is an unique opportunity to join The Body Shop Team!You will manage the fulfilment of inventory across UK channels (retail & E-com) , optimising SAR Auto replenishment; maximise store OSA; execute market event plans & other non core plans; analyse store stock health & recommend action to mitigate wite offs More about the roleMain Roles & Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Responsible for regional DC inventory deployment for given geography / number of stores.</li><li>Responsible for monitoring and replenishing across core portfolio, ensuring all SAR master data is accurate and reviewed / refreshed on a regular basis.</li><li>Execute all non core business plans, e.g. Events, NPD, Sale etc.</li><li>Ensure OSA is maximised, where there are supply constraints take pro active steps to protect sales.</li><li>Manage / update assortment list in partnership with commercial, ensuring SAR is fully up to date.</li><li>Liaise with the global supply chain on availability and product flow & manage constraints in supply locally, take / offer pro active actions to protect sales.</li><li>Analyse store stock position to understand the impact on service levels and the requirement to correct any shortfalls based on latest forecast / stock availability.</li><li>Report on store stock inventory, highlight for action excess / age of stock issues.</li><li>Manage discontinuations, exit of ranges.</li><li>Ensure new store openings are executed on time with all VM props etc.</li><li>Monitor new store openings and react to trends in sales in real time.</li><li>Support on team shared reporting.</li></ul> What we look for <ul><li>Interacts Effectively - Team Working, Senior level Influencing and Negotiating - written and verbal reasoning.</li><li>Manages Complexity - Methodical approach, Analytical and Numerate dexterity.</li><li>Innovates - Seeks to improve and refine processes.</li><li> Experience in Supply Chain/ Merchandising in a retail environment. </li><li> Experience of influencing cross functionally. </li><li> Understanding of supply chain best practice. </li><li> Experience of improving supply chain operational process. </li><li> Excellent understanding of inventory management. </li><li> Advanced Excel preferred. </li><li> SAP & SAR knowledge. </li><li> Power BI knowledge preferred. </li></ul> BenefitsAs well as a competitive salary, here are just a few of the rewards that you can look forward to if you join us: a 6% non-contributory pension plan, 23 days holiday, 50% staff discount and access to product sample sales, access to Perks at Work, our online shopping channel with exclusive deals & discounts, as well as LOVE money to spend on your wellbeing and personal development.
