<div>Role:
Managers are responsible for the overall operation of their unit. Managers support and implement business objectives through a strong sales based focus and constant development of their team. Specifically, Managers provide the strategy and delegate duties to ensure all business objectives and sales goals are met. General Managers are an exempt position.
Essential Job Functions:<ul><li>
On a day to day basis, General Managers are responsible for the strategic development of the unit in the areas of sales, costs, quality and people basics. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:</li><li>
Develop overall strategy for unit to meet business objectives, develop and promote employees and meet sales goals in all applicable sales avenues</li><li>
Maintains highest standard of customer service in unit</li><li>
Communicate and follow-up on unit objectives with all staff through to completion</li><li>
Maintain a sales based focus, proactively seeking out sales opportunities to establish and maintain business relationships where possible through phone calls, physical interactions and driving where necessary</li><li>
Maintain highest quality standards to ensure a safe working environment including maintaining HAACP, Board of Health protocols in everyday duties for all employees</li><li>
Develop assistant management to effectively manage sales, costs, quality and people basics</li><li>
Recruit and retain appropriately skilled staff to work in the restaurant and/or handle catering and banquet events</li><li>
Positively impact the unit through demonstrated creativity in developing and implementing strategic initiatives in the unit</li><li>
Appropriately schedule staff for forecasted sales</li><li>
Audit internal processes and adjust as needed to complete assigned operational goals</li><li>
Manage employee relations issues to ensure a harmonious work environment for all staff</li><li>
Support District General Manager in effectively communicating issues, concerns, and special needs/projects and day to day business of the unit</li><li>
Fill in wherever necessary to move the line faster, assist in delivering product and serving food to customers</li><li>
Make deposits at the bank</li></ul>
Physical Requirements Necessary for the Position:
Managers will regularly stand, walk, talk, carry, bend, stoop, turn and lift in excess of thirty-five (35) pounds. General Managers will also drive, view a computer monitor and type/write on a regular basis. Team lift required on anything over twenty-five (25) pounds and/or an awkward lift.

Manager

<div>Front of House Manager
The FOH Manager works with the General Manager and Kitchen Manager to provide exceptional customer service. The right candidate will lead FOH staff in a fast-paced restaurant environment to ensure exceptional experiences for our guests. Manages FOH staff which includes scheduling, training, and general supervision of all restaurant staff. The right candidate will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and guest-service standards. You&rsquo;ll oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity. We&rsquo;ll expect you to lead by example to uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations</li><li>
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction</li><li>
Continuously touching tables and getting to know guests</li><li>
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints</li><li>
Regularly review product quality</li><li>
Organize and supervise shifts</li><li>
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity</li><li>
Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products</li><li>
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations</li><li>
Manage restaurant&rsquo;s good image and suggest ways to improve it</li><li>
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste</li><li>
Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)</li><li>
Train new and current employees on proper guest service practices</li><li>
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations</li><li>
Oversees opening and closing tasks and balances daily and nightly cash drawers.</li></ul>
 Requirements:<ul><li>
Proven customer service experience</li><li>
Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff</li><li>
Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills</li><li>
Open availability. Days, nights, weekends, and holidays</li><li>
Regularly stand, walk, communicate, carry, bend, stoop, turn, and lift in excess of 35 lbs.</li><li>
Must have a valid drivers license and proof of vehicle insurance to make bank deposits</li><li>
Must have computer knowledge and skills</li></ul>
