This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in supervising and engaging children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times </li><li>Support classroom teachers by implementing lesson plans, activities, and routines tailored to different age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers </li><li>Provide attentive care for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that promotes learning and development </li><li>Help manage behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and consistent caregiving practices </li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary </li><li>Support the transition of children between activities and assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other caregiving duties</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred </li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices </li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus </li><li>Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies </li><li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and enthusiasm </li><li>Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues </li><li>Flexibility to float between classrooms based on staffing needs and program demands</li></ul>This role is perfect for passionate caregivers eager to support children's growth while developing their professional skills.
