We are currently accepting applications for a Upper Elementary Teacher.Position SummaryWe are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and Christ-centered individual to join our team as a Lower Elementary Teacher. The ideal candidate will foster a love for learning in young students while nurturing their spiritual, academic, social, and emotional development. This role involves integrating a biblical worldview into teaching, partnering with parents, and creating a classroom environment that reflects the school&rsquo;s Christian values.Key ResponsibilitiesSpiritual Leadership<ul><li>Model a Christ-like attitude and behavior in all interactions.</li><li>Incorporate biblical principles into lessons and classroom management.</li><li>Guide students in spiritual growth through prayer, devotions, and biblical instruction.</li></ul>Instructional Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school&rsquo;s curriculum and standards for lower elementary grades (typically 3rd, 4th, 5th, &amp; 6th)</li><li>Employ age-appropriate teaching methods to support a variety of learning styles.</li><li>Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in students.</li><li>Assess and monitor student progress using formative and summative assessments, adjusting instruction to meet individual needs.</li></ul>Classroom Management<ul><li>Create and maintain a positive, Christ-centered classroom environment.</li><li>Implement effective behavior management strategies that reflect Christian values.</li><li>Ensure a safe, clean, and organized learning space.</li></ul>Collaboration and Communication<ul><li>Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, concerns, and classroom updates.</li><li>Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance instructional practices and share resources.</li></ul>QualificationsSpiritual and Personal<ul><li>A committed Christian who demonstrates a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.</li><li>Agreement with the school&rsquo;s statement of faith and mission.</li><li>A passion for Christian education and a heart for working with children.</li></ul>Educational and Professional<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Elementary Education or a related field (required).</li><li>Teaching certification (State or ACSI certification)</li><li>Previous experience teaching in an elementary classroom, preferably in a Christian school setting.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $34,000.00 - $45,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Would you be comfortable teaching at a Christian environment and upholding the moral and ethical standards, statement of faith and code of conduct?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Teaching: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>ACSI or State Certification (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
