Preschool Teacher (Infants to PreK)

Hourly Pay:$12-$16 Depending on Experience

Full time 8-5pm or Part time 2-6pm (Hours are Flexible)

Summary

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at The Christian School at Castle Hills. This role is vital in nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning within a Christ-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment for preschool children.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
• Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Encourage positive behavior and promote a sense of community among students.
• Integrate biblical principles into daily lessons and activities.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associates or Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in preschool or early childhood education settings is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early education.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to integrating Christian values into the teaching process.
• Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment strategies is a plus.
