Job Description: Grounds Maintenance LaborerPosition Summary: The Grounds Maintenance Laborer is a non-exempt position that will deliver exceptional customer service to our commercial account(s). The employee is responsible for day-to-day landscaping upkeep to include but not limited to, removing trash and debris, watering, trimming, and maintaining surrounding areas following best practices. The Grounds Maintenance Laborer will take an active role in working independently to manage time and to complete daily assignments efficiently. The employee will be responsible for communicating needs, issues, and customer requests to the Grounds Maintenance Assistant Manager. The employee will demonstrate organization and prioritizing skills with excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently. Hours may vary due to weather conditions. The employee will meet or exceed the minimum job requirements outlined below.Duties and Responsibilities:&middot; Represent Claussen&rsquo;s in a professional manner to customers and employees.&middot; Maintain customers&rsquo; property following company&rsquo;s high standards at all times by mowing, trimming, and pruning grounds and landscape beds.&middot; Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes, sod laying.&middot; Apply appropriate water &amp; chemicals in a timely manner, such as fertilizer, pest repellent, round-up, etc.&middot; Snow removal duties during winter season.&middot; Clean driveways, sidewalks etc. on the properties utilizing appropriate tools.&middot; Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on groundskeeping equipment.&middot; Litter removal.&middot; Power washing.&middot; All other duties as assigned.Requirements:&middot; Valid Driver&rsquo;s license and clean motor vehicle record required.&middot; High School Diploma or GED certificate preferred.&middot; Ability to communicate and read labels in English.
