Step into a dynamic Industrial Maintenance role built for a true jack-of-all-trades, providing top-tier support to industrial customers through painting, concrete projects, door and window replacements, wall builds, bathroom installations, and more!Position Summary: The Industrial Maintenance Laborer is a non-exempt position that will deliver exceptional customer service to our industrial customers. The employee will perform a variety of routine and semi-skilled tasks involving general maintenance and repairs of various industrial buildings, equipment, and grounds. The Industrial Maintenance Laborer will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and communication skills.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform repairs and preventive maintenance services including cement, carpentry, painting, and plastering, machine servicing, light plumbing, electrical, and maintenance.</li><li>Conduct minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in general operations.</li><li>Assist Grounds Maintenance and Construction Crews with duties as needed.</li><li>Communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and all shop personnel regarding the maintenance and repair of equipment via notes, e-mail, or verbal communication.</li><li>Complete record logs including labor, repairs made, equipment, purchase orders, and use of materials.</li><li>Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required.</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.</li><li>Perform all work with established safety procedures.</li><li>Snow removal.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED certificate preferred.</li><li>General knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.</li><li>Follow safety standards, performing duties and utilization of multiple tools and equipment.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial maintenance.</li><li>Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems and understanding schematics.</li><li>Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is preferred.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.</li><li>Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in an industrial setting.</li><li>Ability to communicate and read &amp; understand relevant written materials and schematic drawings in English.
