Line Laborer (Temporary Position)

Monday - Friday, 7 am to 5:30 pm, position is only temporary!

Job Description: Line Laborer

Position Summary: The Line Laborer is a non-exempt TEMPORARY position that will perform various manual labor tasks on an assembly line. The primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of transferring heavy supplies from pallet to machinery, efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Performing manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Assisting other workers with their tasks and projects.
• Cleaning and preparing work sites to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Lifting 50 lb. bags from a pallet and placing them onto the assembly line.
• Performing quality control checks on finished products.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Following instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors and team leaders.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical skills to operate equipment and machinery.
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift 50 lb. bags repetitively to place on machinery.
• Good communication and teamwork skills. (Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus)
• Ability to follow instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors and crew leaders.
• Knowledge of basic safety rules & precautionary measures.
• Positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
• Attention to detail.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
