Job OverviewWeekend availability and Barista experience is a must.We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for coffee. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your role will be vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that each drink is prepared to perfection.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.</li><li>Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, including equipment, utensils, and work areas.</li><li>Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.</li><li>Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; communicate restocking needs to management.</li><li>Uphold company standards for quality control in beverage preparation and presentation.</li><li>Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of coffee products and improve sales techniques.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in roles involving customer service or food preparation.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Square POS is a plus.</li><li>Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.</li><li>Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques is desirable.</li><li>Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li></ul>Join us as we create memorable experiences for our customers through exceptional service and quality beverages!Job Type: Part-timePay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person
