You&rsquo;ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team committed to honoring each resident&rsquo;s dignity, promoting their independence, and helping them thrive in a safe, loving, home‑like environment.Overview of the position-<ul><li>Build genuine connections with residents while observing and supporting their daily health and well‑being</li><li>Assist with individualized care plans based on each resident&rsquo;s unique needs</li><li>Support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal support</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards</li><li>Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care for individuals living with dementia or developmental disabilities</li><li>Engage with residents in meaningful recreational and life‑enrichment activities</li><li>Respond confidently in emergency situations with CPR and first‑aid skills</li><li>Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest quality of care</li></ul>Qualifications-<ul><li>CPR training and the ability to respond calmly in emergencies</li><li>Experience with dementia care or developmental disabilities (highly valued but not required for all roles)</li><li>Current Washington State HCA or CNA certification</li><li>Med Techs: Must be fully nurse‑delegated with at least 1 year of experience preferred</li><li>Strong observation and communication skills</li><li>A positive, team‑oriented mindset</li><li>A kind, patient, and empathetic heart</li><li>Ability to follow individualized care plans</li><li>Comfort in providing care, recreational activities, and compassion to our residents as one of our universal workers</li><li>A true passion for working with individuals experiencing cognitive changes</li></ul>WHY the Cottages of Covington?At The Cottages of Covington, you&rsquo;re not just taking on a job&mdash;you&rsquo;re becoming part of a community that values compassion, teamwork, and purpose.
