About the RoleWe are a residential design firm specializing in custom homes. We are a part of the exciting new master planned community Kelly Ranch, in Aledo, TX. We&rsquo;re hiring a full-time Interior Designer to manage interior and exterior finish selections and support projects from early design through completion.This is a hands-on role that requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. The right person enjoys structured decision-making, working through details, and collaborating closely with a small team.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign &amp; Selections<ul><li>Manage end-to-end material and finish selections for custom homes, including exterior and interior components from foundation-related materials through roofing systems</li><li>Coordinate selections for roofing, exterior cladding, windows, doors, masonry, paint systems, and architectural elements, along with all interior finishes</li><li>Create fully documented, cohesive selection packages covering hard finishes, fixtures, hardware, lighting, and specialty materials</li><li>Assist with furniture and window treatments when included in the project scope</li><li>Confirm selections meet budget parameters, construction requirements, lead times, and project schedules</li></ul>Client &amp; Team Coordination <ul><li>Independently curate complete material and finish packages for each project based on client goals, budgets, and architectural direction</li><li>Present selections for client review and approval, incorporating feedback as needed</li><li>Coordinate with builders, vendors, and internal team members to confirm specifications, pricing, and availability</li><li>Respond to questions and follow up on outstanding items to keep projects moving forward</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Organization<ul><li>Create and maintain selection schedules, spec sheets, and pricing documentation</li><li>Track approvals, changes, and revisions throughout the project</li><li>Maintain organized digital project files</li></ul>Project Support<ul><li>Assist with installs, site visits, and final walkthroughs as needed</li><li>Help resolve issues related to availability, substitutions, or lead times</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years of experience in residential interior design (custom homes preferred)</li><li>Strong understanding of construction materials and finish applications</li><li>Highly organized and detail-oriented</li><li>Clear, professional written and verbal communication</li><li>Comfortable managing multiple active projects at once</li><li>Proficiency with common design and documentation tools</li></ul>Work Structure<ul><li>Full-time, in-office position</li><li>Standard business hours with occasional flexibility based on project needs</li><li>Works closely with a small design and leadership team</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Salary is $60,000-$75,000 based on experience</li><li>Benefits and paid time off discussed during interview process</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease submit your resume and portfolio (or examples of relevant work) to jessieb@kellyranchdesigncenter.comPay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
