Job Title: Event Officer (School)Department:AdministrationsReports To:School Administrator / Principal / Head of OperationsJob Purpose:The Event Officer is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and executing all school events to enhance student engagement, promote school culture, strengthen parent relations, and support the school&rsquo;s brand image.Key Responsibilities:1. Event Planning &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Plan and organize school events such as:</li><li>Annual days</li><li>Sports days</li><li>Parents&rsquo; days</li><li>Cultural programs</li><li>Educational fairs</li><li>Workshops and seminars</li><li>Prepare event calendars in coordination with school management.</li><li>Develop event budgets and ensure cost control.</li></ul>2. Logistics &amp; Operations<ul><li>Coordinate venue setup, seating, stage, sound, lighting, and decorations.</li><li>Liaise with vendors (caterers, decorators, sound systems, photographers).</li><li>Ensure availability of materials (certificates, banners, trophies, props).</li></ul>3. Coordination with Staff &amp; Students<ul><li>Work closely with teachers, coordinators, and student committees.</li><li>Assign duties to staff and student volunteers during events.</li><li>Ensure smooth execution on the event day.</li></ul>4. Communication &amp; Promotion<ul><li>Coordinate event announcements, invitations, and notices for parents.</li><li>Assist in creating event content for social media, website, and newsletters.</li><li>Coordinate photography and videography of events.</li></ul>5. Compliance &amp; Safety<ul><li>Ensure events follow school policies, child safety standards, and discipline guidelines.</li><li>Arrange security, first aid, and crowd management when required.</li><li>Obtain necessary permissions from management or authorities.</li></ul>6. Post-Event Activities<ul><li>Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare reports.</li><li>Collect feedback from staff, students, and parents.</li><li>Maintain records of events, expenses, and outcomes.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong organizational and planning skills</li><li>Excellent communication and coordination abilities</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks</li><li>Creativity in event ideas and execution</li><li>Basic knowledge of budgeting and vendor management</li><li>Leadership and teamwork skills</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Event Management, Mass Communication, Education, or related field (preferred)</li><li>1&ndash;3 years of experience in school events or similar roles</li><li>Experience working with children and school staff is an advantage</li></ul>Working Conditions:<ul><li>Occasional weekend or after-school hours during events</li><li>On-campus work with frequent movement during event days</li></ul>Performance Indicators (KPIs):<ul><li>Successful execution of events as per schedule</li><li>Budget adherence</li><li>Parent and student satisfaction</li><li>Quality of coordination and event management</li><li>Timely reporting and documentation</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
