Typist/ IT/ Social Media Expert

Job Summary:The Event and Social Media Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing school events while managing and growing the organization&rsquo;s social media presence. This role ensures consistent branding, communication, and engagement across all online and offline platforms to promote the school&rsquo;s activities, achievements, and culture.Key Responsibilities:Event Management:<ul><li>Plan, organize, and manage internal and external school events (e.g., Annual Day, Sports Day, Parent-Teacher Meetings, Admission Campaigns).</li><li>Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and school staff for event logistics, setup, and execution.</li><li>Prepare event budgets and ensure cost-effective management.</li><li>Manage event invitations, registration, and follow-up communication.</li><li>Capture and archive event photos, videos, and testimonials.</li></ul>Social Media Management:<ul><li>Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).</li><li>Create engaging content including posts, stories, reels, and graphics.</li><li>Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and inquiries promptly.</li><li>Track analytics and performance of posts and campaigns to improve reach and engagement.</li><li>Promote school events, admission campaigns, achievements, and activities online.</li></ul>Additional Duties:<ul><li>Work closely with the marketing and academic teams to align messaging.</li><li>Conduct live coverage of school events on social media.</li><li>Design promotional materials (flyers, brochures, social media ads).</li><li>Maintain the content calendar and ensure timely posting.</li><li>Assist with internal communication materials like newsletters or announcements.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills:Education:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>1&ndash;3 years of experience in social media management, event planning, or related fields.</li><li>Experience in the education sector is a plus.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Canva, etc.).</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management abilities.</li><li>Basic photography/videography and editing skills.</li><li>Creative thinking and attention to detail.</li></ul>Work Conditions:<ul><li>Willingness to work evenings or weekends for events.</li><li>On-site work presence is required for coordination and content capturing.</li></ul>Performance Indicators:<ul><li>Growth in social media followers and engagement.</li><li>Number and quality of events organized.</li><li>Audience feedback and participation rates.</li><li>Timely and high-quality content delivery.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
