Position: Preschool Head
Job Summary
The Preschool Head is responsible for the overall academic, operational, and administrative management of the preschool section. The role ensures a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment while maintaining high standards of teaching, curriculum implementation, staff development, and parent satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership
- Plan, implement, and monitor the Early Years curriculum.
- Ensure effective delivery of phonics, literacy, numeracy, and play-based learning.
- Monitor lesson plans, classroom observations, and student progress.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Staff Management
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate preschool teachers and assistants.
- Conduct regular training and professional development sessions.
- Manage staff attendance, punctuality, and performance.
- Allocate duties and ensure smooth daily operations.
Student Development
- Monitor children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Ensure child safety, health, and well-being at all times.
- Support children with learning or behavioral challenges.
Parent Relations
- Maintain strong communication with parents.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and orientation sessions.
- Address parent concerns professionally and promptly.
Classroom & Environment
- Ensure classrooms are attractive, safe, and developmentally appropriate.
- Oversee learning corners, teaching resources, displays, and educational materials.
- Monitor hygiene and safety standards throughout the preschool.
Administration
- Prepare timetables and activity calendars.
- Maintain student records, assessments, and portfolios.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and quality standards.
- Coordinate admissions, classroom observations, and special events.
Events & Activities
- Organize assemblies, celebrations, annual functions, sports activities, and field trips.
- Lead curriculum-based events and parent engagement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of preschool teaching experience, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Early Years curriculum, phonics, classroom management, and child development.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and educational technology.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per hour
