 About the Role
 
 
 
 The Fashionable Stylista is a premier fashion design academy in Syosset, NY, dedicated to inspiring and training the next generation of designers. Our programs serve students from elementary through high school in a creative, structured, and professional environment.
 
 
 We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to support daily operations at our Syosset location.
 
 
 This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a creative setting while managing administrative and organizational responsibilities with precision and professionalism.
 
 
 The ideal candidate must be dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent weekly schedule. This position is best suited for someone seeking a long-term opportunity with the potential to grow as the organization continues to expand.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle general inquiries
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage student registrations, class rosters, and attendance records
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with scheduling, invoicing, and maintaining databases
 </li>
 <li>
 Order office and classroom supplies and keep inventory organized
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare materials for classes, workshops, and events
 </li>
 <li>
 Support studio organization and daily operations
 </li>
 <li>
 Update and maintain website content and services through
 
 Wix
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the CEO with scheduling, calendar management, and event coordination
 </li>
 <li>
 Help manage the studio calendar by adding class and event dates as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with light marketing and communication tasks (emails, social media, flyers, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate logistics for special events such as camps and fashion shows
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Prior experience in an administrative or customer-facing role
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent organizational and communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency with
 
 Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
 
 (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with
 
 Wix
 
 , Canva, and other basic digital tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
 </li>
 <li>
 Interest in fashion, education, or creative industries a plus
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Schedule
 
 
 
 Approximately 20 hours per week
 
 
 &bull; 16 hours on-site (typically 10:00 AM &ndash; 2:00 PM, 4 weekdays)
 
 
 &bull; 4 hours remote for administrative and marketing tasks
 
 
 &bull; Occasional flexibility required during camps, fashion shows, or special events
