This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a fast-paced, vibrant setting.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality</li><li>Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS</li><li>Escort guests to their tables promptly while providing attentive guest service</li><li>Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and reservations assistance</li><li>Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure timely seating and smooth guest flow</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold high standards of hospitality</li><li>Handle guest concerns or special requests courteously, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Previous host/hostess experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred</li><li>Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities</li><li>Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous</li><li>Ability to multitask efficiently in a lively setting while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations techniques to foster positive interactions</li><li>Experience in hotel or guest services can be a plus for understanding hospitality standards</li><li>Exceptional hospitality mindset with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences</li></ul>This role is ideal for energetic individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive on delivering outstanding guest service.
