Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Escort guests to their tables promptly while providing attentive guest service
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and reservations assistance
• Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure timely seating and smooth guest flow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold high standards of hospitality
• Handle guest concerns or special requests courteously, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish

Skills

• Previous host/hostess experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a lively setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations techniques to foster positive interactions
• Experience in hotel or guest services can be a plus for understanding hospitality standards
• Exceptional hospitality mindset with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
