This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, upscale environment while enjoying the camaraderie of a dedicated team.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery</li><li>Prepare and serve drinks at the bar, including cocktails, wine, and specialty beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality</li><li>Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar and dining spaces</li><li>Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments with POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms</li><li>Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs</li><li>Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor</li><li>Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques</li><li>Experience with food industry tools such as serving trays, bar equipment, and OpenTable reservations system preferred</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations; culinary experience is a plus for supporting food prep tasks</li><li>Familiarity with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction</li><li>Previous host/hostess experience or restaurant experience that demonstrates guest relations skills is advantageous</li></ul>Embark on an exciting journey where your enthusiasm fuels memorable experiences!
