Food Server/Bartender

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Prepare and serve drinks at the bar, including cocktails, wine, and specialty beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar and dining spaces
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments with POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with food industry tools such as serving trays, bar equipment, and OpenTable reservations system preferred
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations; culinary experience is a plus for supporting food prep tasks
• Familiarity with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Previous host/hostess experience or restaurant experience that demonstrates guest relations skills is advantageous
