Your proactive approach and organizational skills will help ensure the smooth operation of our legal processes, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling, correspondence, and case file management</li><li>Assist with legal research across various areas such as criminal law, family law, landlord-tenant law, and more using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and iManage</li><li>Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and reports with precision and clarity</li><li>Conduct thorough document review and proofreading to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards</li><li>Manage case management systems like PCLaw and legal document management tools to track case progress and deadlines</li><li>Support litigation processes through data entry, filing, transcription, and organizing evidence or discovery materials</li><li>Coordinate interviews with clients and witnesses while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Familiarity with a variety of legal practice areas including criminal law, family law, personal injury law</li><li>Experience with legal case management software such as MyCase is highly desirable</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently</li><li>Strong writing skills for drafting reports, correspondence, and legal documents</li><li>Proficiency in document review, proofreading, transcription, data entry, filing systems and administrative support tasks</li><li>Exceptional phone etiquette combined with professional communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment</li></ul>This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in criminal defense law while supporting a dedicated team committed to justice.
