Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling, correspondence, and case file management
• Assist with legal research across various areas such as criminal law, family law, landlord-tenant law, and more using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and iManage
• Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and reports with precision and clarity
• Conduct thorough document review and proofreading to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards
• Manage case management systems like PCLaw and legal document management tools to track case progress and deadlines
• Support litigation processes through data entry, filing, transcription, and organizing evidence or discovery materials
• Coordinate interviews with clients and witnesses while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications

• Familiarity with a variety of legal practice areas including criminal law, family law, personal injury law
• Experience with legal case management software such as MyCase is highly desirable
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
• Strong writing skills for drafting reports, correspondence, and legal documents
• Proficiency in document review, proofreading, transcription, data entry, filing systems and administrative support tasks
• Exceptional phone etiquette combined with professional communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
