The Leo Collection, An Ascend Hotel

The hotel maintenance position is responsible for the repair, inspection, and preventative maintenance of a hotel&rsquo;s physical structures, mechanical systems, and equipment. The technician works closely with management, housekeeping, and front desk teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and minimal disruption to guests.<ul><li>Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.&#8203;</li><li>Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical systems.&#8203;</li><li>Repair or replace room fixtures, furniture, and appliances as needed.&#8203;</li><li>Maintain exterior areas including pools, parking lots, and landscaping.&#8203;</li><li>Complete work orders promptly and document all maintenance activities.&#8203;</li><li>Respond to emergency maintenance issues and guest repair requests.&#8203;</li><li>Support energy conservation initiatives and equipment efficiency programs.&#8203;</li><li>Oversee outside contractors during major repair or project work.&#8203;</li><li>Adhere to safety guidelines, fire codes, and company maintenance policies</li></ul>This position often involves on-call shifts, weekend work, and responding to emergency maintenance needs, especially during high guest occupancy periods.Job Type: Part-timePay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Hotel Maintenance: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Lincoln Park, MI 48146 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
