General Maintenance

The hotel maintenance position is responsible for the repair, inspection, and preventative maintenance of a hotel’s physical structures, mechanical systems, and equipment. The technician works closely with management, housekeeping, and front desk teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and minimal disruption to guests.

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.​
• Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical systems.​
• Repair or replace room fixtures, furniture, and appliances as needed.​
• Maintain exterior areas including pools, parking lots, and landscaping.​
• Complete work orders promptly and document all maintenance activities.​
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and guest repair requests.​
• Support energy conservation initiatives and equipment efficiency programs.​
• Oversee outside contractors during major repair or project work.​
• Adhere to safety guidelines, fire codes, and company maintenance policies

This position often involves on-call shifts, weekend work, and responding to emergency maintenance needs, especially during high guest occupancy periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
