 JOB PURPOSE:
 
 
 
 
 We are looking for new team members! This intern role presents an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about new product development to play a key role in supporting the Regional R&amp;D team through identifying opportunities to better meet consumer needs and drive profitable growth.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Supporting technical management and product development of innovation and R&amp;D center projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain effective and timely communication of project status with business partners.
 </li>
 <li>
 Generates ideas by investigating new and alternative materials, processes, equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assessment of new technologies and technical opportunities with latest developments in the relevant area.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan, coordinate &amp; execute lab, pilot plant works of his/her projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow and understand trends on market regarding new product and technologies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for integrity of specifications and formulations in specification management system. Provision of specification for every product in market and ensure that all new, or rejuvenated products have &amp; match agreed specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures effective interface with Unilever factories in driving implementation of new products and processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 In close co-ordination with the processing and supply chain teams, develop manufacturing processes to scale the product manufacture from lab to pilot to main plant.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the compliance of the work to the Unilever Code of Business Principles.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 University degree in Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Preferably Master&rsquo;s or pHD degree in a relevant study; Food Technology Food Chemistry, Chemistry.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in English language (both written and verbal).
 </li>
 <li>
 Very good knowledge of Experience/know how in Microsoft 365 tools; Teams, Sharepoint, Planner, PowerBI, Flow, Power Apps etc. is an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of product design processes and principles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of Food Legislation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven practice in Project Management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Effective communication skills with all levels of an organization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to effectively co-operate within multi-disciplinary teams on local and global.
 </li>
 <li>
 Effectively leveraging the scale of Unilever and the power of Ecosystems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Preferably no military obligation for male candidates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Available to contribute minimum 3 days a week.
