 Job Summary:
 
 
 
 The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for supporting the Company&rsquo;s financial operations by processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
 </li>
 <li>
 Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation (3-way match)
 </li>
 <li>
 Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and process weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify pricing, quantities, and approval authorization prior to payment
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
 </li>
 <li>
 Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Support continuous process improvements within the AP function
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High school diploma required; Associate&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 1&ndash;3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail and accuracy
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic understanding of accounting principles
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
