The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with 35&ndash;40 guaranteed hours per week. The hourly rate starts at $28+ based on experience and will be paid via payroll. The family offers guaranteed hours, overtime pay, paid federal holidays, and sick leave.The position focuses on caring for a newborn who will be approximately 3&ndash;4 months old at the start of the role. The family also has a 3-year-old who attends daycare full-time, and no regular care is required for him except in the event of illness or daycare closures. Both parents work remotely part of the week and value open communication, collaboration, and a nanny who genuinely enjoys working with infants.Responsibilities include full care of the baby&mdash;feeding (bottles and eventually introducing solids), diapering, following an established sleep routine, and engaging in developmentally appropriate activities such as tummy time, sensory play, reading, singing, and interactive communication. The nanny will monitor developmental milestones, provide soothing and attentive care, wash and sterilize bottles, handle the baby&rsquo;s laundry, and maintain organization in the nursery and baby-related areas. Support for the older sibling is only expected if he is home sick or daycare is closed. There are no household management duties or responsibilities unrelated to the children.The ideal candidate has at least three years of paid nanny experience with strong infant expertise and experience caring for multiple children. A reliable personal vehicle is required for commuting (a car is not needed during working hours). The nanny must be dog-friendly, a non-smoker, legally authorized to work in the U.S., CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain), and up to date on COVID-19, TDAP, and flu vaccinations. Live-In Family Assistant &ndash; Upper East Side, NYCA busy, professional family on the Upper East Side is seeking a dependable, warm, and proactive Live-In Family Assistant to join their home long-term. The position is available ASAP, though the family is happy to wait for the right fit. The starting rate is $32/hour and up, depending on experience. The family has a newborn and a 2.5-year-old; however, the newborn is cared for by a full-time live-out nanny. This role will primarily focus on the toddler, who will begin full-time school in September. There is daily overlap (approximately 1&ndash;2 hours) with the infant&rsquo;s nanny, and once she leaves, care of both children may be shared as needed.This role is a blend of childcare and family assistant responsibilities. Childcare duties include school drop-off and pickup, engaging the toddler in age-appropriate activities, supporting afternoon and evening routines, assisting with infant care as needed, and working collaboratively with the other nanny. Family assistant responsibilities include preparing breakfast and cooking family meals (strong cooking skills are required), light organizing and maintaining common areas, running errands, managing household inventory and orders, assisting with scheduling and family logistics, and helping maintain the overall structure and flow of the home. Deep cleaning is handled weekly by a housekeeper.The family is offering industry-standard benefits, guaranteed hours based on the selected schedule, and private live-in accommodations. Two schedule options are available: Option A is approximately 42.25 hours per week (Monday&ndash;Thursday 6:30 AM&ndash;9:00 AM and 3:15 PM&ndash;8:00 PM; Friday 6:30 AM&ndash;9:00 AM and 3:15 PM&ndash;7:00 PM; Saturday 7:00 AM&ndash;2:00 PM). Option B is approximately 35 hours per week (Monday&ndash;Friday 6:30 AM&ndash;9:00 AM and 3:30 PM&ndash;8:00 PM).The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years of professional nanny or family assistant experience, with strong infant and toddler experience. They are confident balancing childcare and household support, have excellent cooking skills, and communicate clearly in English. The family is looking for someone proactive, organized, warm, trustworthy, and nurturing, who takes pride in their work and maintains a professional mindset.
