JOB PURPOSE:</b></p><p>
The Ned Doha is seeking a highly talented and visionary <b>HEAD CHEF &ndash; ASIAN CUISINE</b> to lead and elevate our Asian dining concept. Ned&rsquo;s Club Washington DC is a members&rsquo; club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President&rsquo;s Park at 734 15th Street NW.</p><p>
The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-storey building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.</p><p>
The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder&rsquo;s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
AS PART OF THE FINANCE TEAM, YOU WILL PLAY A KEY ROLE BY:</b></p><p></p><p><b><br>
INCOME AUDIT &amp; REVENUE</b></p><ul><li>Performing the daily income audit and reconciliation of all revenue streams, including rooms, food &amp; beverage, membership and ancillary outlets, ensuring completeness and accuracy between systems</li><li>Completing the daily income journal and reconciling daily activity across PMS, POS, accounting and sales systems, investigating and resolving variances</li><li>Performing daily cash and credit card reconciliations</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE</b></p><ul><li>Ensuring that invoices and payments are processed according to company policy and procedures</li><li>Working closely with the Purchasing Manager to create a processing flow that ensures purchase orders correspond with invoices and are processed in a timely manner</li><li>Posting and processing weekly manual checks, wires, Fintech payments and ACH payments</li><li>Maintaining vendor documentation required for 1099 processing</li><li>Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and responding to and resolving inquiries in a timely manner</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE &amp; CHARGEBACKS</b></p><ul><li>Managing accounts receivable, including invoicing, billing accuracy, aging review, collections follow-up and resolution of member, guest and corporate account discrepancies</li><li>Administering and tracking all credit card chargebacks and disputes, including research, documentation, response submission and coordination with processors and internal teams to drive timely resolution</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>

JOB PURPOSE:</b></p><p>
We are seeking a talented and creative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of our kitchen operations. The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu development, food preparation, kitchen management, and ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and the ability to inspire and mentor our team of chefs and kitchen staff.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><ul><li>
Develop and execute innovative and seasonally-inspired menus that reflect the company's culinary vision and brand.</li><li>
Lead and manage the kitchen team, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks, providing direction, training, and mentorship to ensure high performance and teamwork.</li><li>
Oversee food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.</li><li>
Source high-quality ingredients, manage inventory, and control food costs to achieve budgetary goals and maximize profitability.</li><li>
Collaborate with the management team to develop pricing strategies, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities for menu optimization and revenue growth.</li><li>
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.</li><li>
Stay informed about industry trends, culinary techniques, and ingredient sourcing, and incorporate new ideas and concepts into menu development.</li><li>
