<p></p><p>This position provides day-to-day oversight of Public Safety Dispatchers, Alarm and Video Monitoring Specialists and student support staff. Supervises and directs subordinate staff which includes assigning and delegating work projects and scheduling employees to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained. Also responsible for all aspects of the performance management process for subordinate employees including evaluating work performance, providing coaching and mentoring and implementing corrective action for performance and conduct related issues.
</p><p>The Communications Supervisor also provides technical assistance to staff, resolves work or personnel related issues and i dentifies training needs for Communications Center staff on the use of dispatching and video/alarm monitoring equipment, LEADS, and other technologies /policies/directives/procedures impacting the operations of the division. This position works under the general supervision of the Senior Dispatch Communications Supervisor and assists with defining objectives, priorities and deadlines and provides input on unusual situations or problems with no clear precedent. Supervisors plan and carry out their work independently but are expected to resolve issues in accordance with instructions, policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
</p><p>The Communications Supervisor is expected to be able to perform the full range of Public Safety Dispatcher and Alarm Video Monitoring Specialist (AVM) functions and to do so on an as needed basis.
</p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications
</b></p><p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
</p><p>Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and ability required to successfully perform the duties of the position. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree desired. Minimum of at least three years of progressively responsible communications dispatching experience in a comparable public safety-dispatching center. Experience with state laws and regulations regarding Communication Center activities is required. Minimum two years&rsquo; experience with CAD, E911, Law Enforcement Automated Data System (LEADS), and other security technology equipment is required. 12- months experience supervising employees or a recent work history of taking on and successfully performing progressively increased responsibilities is desired. Experience or other qualifications that demonstrate strong decision-making skills, excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills, and an ability to successfully supervise, motivate, mentor, train and evaluate assigned staff is desired.
</p><p>Upon completion of the probationary period the selected candidate must meet the following expectations :

<p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in criminal justice, political science, public administration or related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Ability to use analytical and statistical research methods to draw valid conclusions is required. No conviction record for felony or crime of moral turpitude or domestic violence. Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain security clearance. Valid driver&rsquo;s license required. Assistant Professor - Practice-2

<div><div><p>The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences (VCS) is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to join our growing department and administrative team. This position will provide high-level administrative support to VCS faculty and management of other departmental needs. Required</b>:</p><p>
Master's of Science Degree in Nursing or Master's in Physician Assistant Science. APRN License with Certification as an NP or PA-C. Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with prescriptive authority; certification by National Nursing Organization (ANA, NAACOG, ANCC); certificate of authority and license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio and certificate to prescribe in the state of Ohio; completion of Women&rsquo;s Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification; current BLS-HCW certificate.</p><p></p><p><b>
Desired:</b></p><p>
0- 2 years relevant experience, 3 to 5 years of experience as a Women&rsquo;s Health Nurse Practitioner; familiarity with an electronic health record.</p>
<p>Targeted hiring range is $101,700.00 to $124,650. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit&rsquo;s available budget, and the selected candidate&rsquo;s qualifications.</p><p></p><p>
