You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical office running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, strong clinical skills, and the ability to thrive in a busy and energetic setting. You will work closely with experienced providers to deliver comprehensive care to our patients.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Deliver exceptional care to the patients</li><li>Performs essential and assigned daily clinical duties</li><li>Chart preparation</li><li>Assist during medical examinations and procedures</li><li>Clinical intake of patient's complaint and vitals</li><li>Casting and Splinting and DME</li><li>Post op care, Suture/Staple removal</li><li>Clinical patient phone calls and call triage</li><li>Accurately document patient's health information in system</li><li>Scribing for provider</li><li>Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations</li><li>Maintains strict confidentiality</li><li>Process prescription refills as directed by physician</li><li>Treats co-workers, medical providers, patients, and visitors with dignity and respect</li><li>Preparation, cleaning and stocking of exam rooms.</li><li>Performs other related duties as needed and assigned</li><li>Injection &amp; Radiology authorizations</li><li>FMLA &amp; Disability, DWC (work comp) paperwork</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous experience in healthcare, orthopedics preferred</li><li>EMR experience required, ATHENA a plus</li><li>Must be able to assist provider with Orthopedic procedures</li><li>Attentive to detail with excellent customer service skills</li><li>Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>BXMO preferred or willingness to obtain</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Must be a team player with a positive attitude</li></ul>Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Athenahealth: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Orthopedics: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
